We use a lot of ice cubes. We also travel by motorhome and never have enough ice, so this is an ideal product for us. We have realized it is best to make up a bunch of ice in advace of a party and also make ice while the party is in progress. I wasn't overly impressed with how it looked, originaly, but after closer inspection it seems to be designed quite well. It is a great appliance. I am especially eager to bring it on our next vacation and avoid having to haul/continually buy ice.
