The noisiest parts of the UCHW-H09AF2 (the compressor and condenser fan) are isolated outdoors resulting in less indoor sound pollution. Split A/C's are a great alternative to bulky window or wall units because only a small hole is needed to accommodate the pipes which conduct the refrigerant and condensation between the components.
