The noisiest parts of the UCHW-H09AF2 (the compressor and condenser fan) are isolated outdoors resulting in less indoor sound pollution. Great for 200 - 300 square foot rooms, it keeps smaller spaces refreshingly cool while conserving energy! Split A/C's are a great alternative to bulky window or wall units because only a small hole is needed to accommodate the pipes which conduct the refrigerant and condensation between the components. Less expensive to professionally install than having ductwork retrofitted for central A/C, split air conditioning is the most widely used cooling system throughout Europe.The AmcorAire Duo UCHW-H09AF2 split air conditioner comes with a five year full warranty on the compressor and three year warranty on all parts. For best results, operate in ambient temperatures between 19° and 109°F. The indoor settings can be set from 61° - 88°F.
