The AD-40A features a large-capacity, 5-liter water tank and has the ability to
remove up to 40 pints of moisture per day - much more than mini units. However,
despite its power, the AD-40A is also significantly quieter than comparable
compressor-driven units on the market. Other features include an automatic
defrost function that de-ices the unit as needed, and for safety, the automatic
shut-off function controls water levels and prevents spills. Maintenance is also
a breeze: two water drainage options are available: you can either empty
the front-loading bucket directly or even have the unit continuously drain out
of a hose. Best of all, the NewAir AD-40A even comes with a carbon filter to
clean the air of odors while it takes the moisture out of it.
