I would recommend this product because it performed as specified and because it is QUIET. Most dehumidifiers are noisy. This product might be used day and night. If used at night in a residence, quiet can be very important because people are trying to sleep.

I'm using this dehumidifier in the basement and after few months I noticed that the basement is much drier. It runs very quiet and I think it will be no problem to even sleep next to it. I highly recommend this product.
