Ideal
for Large Areas: Many portable swamp coolers do
not have the ability to cool large areas, but due to its
powerful motor and advanced cooling pad design, the Sumo-J
can cool spaces up to 300 square feet. 
"I purchased this product because I wanted a unit I could cool off the garage, my shop occasionally, and sections of my house. After having a room "water cooling" fan for several years, I decided to get something of the same nature, but with greater capacity. The Sumo-J was what I was looking for! Compared to relatively similar products at Home Depot, Lowes, and other hardware stores, the Sumo-J far outclassed them in construction, capacity, and aesthetics. When I received the product, I was happy to see a real, honest-to-goodness swamp cooler that has capacity, good looks, and mobility.
The Sumo-J is working nicely. One hot evening while working on some bicycles in my shop, I put the Sumo-J in the doorway and cranked it up. While the outside temperature was 101° (the area is covered with concrete), the inside shop was a cool 81°. There is no insulation in the shop; just outside siding and sheet rock on the inside. The Sumo-J cooled the garage to a temperature that was acceptable. The garage can fit 3 cars so it is much bigger than the 300 sq ft. the Sumo-J is listed to cool. In the house, the Sumo-J also works fine. I would definitely recommend this product. It isn't too big, too heavy, or ugly. It has cooling capacity that is appreciable, and it looks like it will last several seasons. I'm one happy customer. You guys at Air & Water rock. What you send to Vegas, will stay in Vegas!"
