Great little Dehumidifier!
We are very happy with the unit. Shipping was fast and easy. Works great inside our outdoor shed, which we turn into a walking closet (RV). Thank you.

I purchased this item and had to send the original back to the manufacturer because it did not work. Now the replacement is malfunctioning. No way would I buy another.

We recently decorated a full bath in our garage that also serves as a pool house during warmer weather. Humidity & mildew go hand in hand in the south and I was looking for a small dehumidifier to alleviate the mildew. The dehumidifier is just what we needed! It is compact, quiet and very efficient. I love the size of this dehumifier. It is just the right size for a small bathroom or closet. It doesn't make the noise or generate the heat that our previous dehumidifier did. Actually, we're going to order another one to replace the big, bulky, NOISY dehumidifier in out master bath!

I purchased a Newair Mini Dehmidifier, and it works extremely well. This is exactly what I had looked for and had not been able to find in stores. It is very quiet and very light weight,so I can easily carry it from room to room. I couldn't be happier with the product. The shopping experience was great. I am a happy customer.

Need a Dehumidifier for your trailer
I needed a Dehumidifier for my trailer because the humidity gets to high when we have it closed during the cool season. So I tried the ADS-500 and after I got a new power supply, I received a bad power supply (from the factory) it seemed to do the trick. The windows don't fog up like they used to. I think it is a good product only the power supply seems to get very hot so I made sure that it was not ever covered up or setting on a cloth surface. Air and water came through with a replacement power supply for me and everything has worked fine. Thanks Gabriel, its works fine now, had a great weekend camping. The ADS-500 is quiet too so it made my wife happy while it was running. First time I used this company and I got the service I needed. Thanks again.

In the winter months in FL there is excess moisture in the rooms and on the windows so I thought these small units would take care of the problem. It did not do the job as well as I thought so I ordered a large unit. It was streamline and small and that is what I wanted. I would not recommend this for the purpose I needed it.

Started off great
At first this product worked great, I was using it to help dry out my sports equipment in my utility closet. Initially, I had to empty the reservoir every other day. Everything was working to plan, sports stuff dried out quickly, no longer smelled as bad, all good. Then things went down hill. After a couple months, after emptying the reservoir one time, the fan came back on and started making a lot of noise. A week later, water was no longer accumulating. Contacted Air and Water Inc. and arranged for an exchange. Received the new unit a few weeks later, didn't work right out of the box. Returned for refund, not going for strike 3. I do have to say, Air and Water Inc. customer service was very good for this product.

Works OK for what I bought it for...
I wanted a dehumidifier for my travel trailer so the moister would not build up and thought this one would do the trick. I got it and it had a power supply broken in the box. Air & Water sent out a replacement and the ADS-500 has worked fine ever since. I run it when we are in the trailer and the windows do not fog up as much as they used to on cold mornings. I also found that it works fine when it (the trailer) is not being used to keep the water from condensing inside on the walls too. I think it runs very quiet and I can't tell it is running most of the time. It is easy to empty and the instructions say it will shut off if the temperature gets to hot or to cold and I think that is a nice design. The power supply runs hotter than I would like, so IMHO you have to have it VERY WELL VENTILATED !! I have it (the power supply) strapped to the wall on a metal bracket with wire ties so nothing can block the air flow and nothing can cover the thing up. If the power supply ran cooler the unit would get a 10 but the heat coming from the supply takes it to an 8.
