I purchased a Vornado heater. It's fantastic. Very quiet and efficient. It costs me about $8 per month to keep one large room toasty warm, and I have lowered the thermostat for the house in general and saved about 60% on my regular heating bills. Highly recommend. It's quiet and efficient and hardly causes a blip in my electric bill.
