High End Chilling Methods:

CFC-free, high efficiency compressor or thermoelectric systems, and advanced semi-conductor cooling technology, allow for plenty of cooling without the high costs. CFC refrigerant (chlorofluorocarbon refrigerant) was phased out by the EPA in 1996, and newer, more environmentally friendly methods of refrigeration have taken its place. Compressor systems are extremely efficient, but are somewhat louder than the extremely quiet, thermoelectric systems. The semi-conductor systems are known for quick operation. All of these types of water cooling methods ensure significantly lower power consumption than all others.
