Review Title: Cool but not like Air conditoning
Comments: If you can sit right in front of it it will keepy ou cool... or have it blowing right on the bed. I did run the water over trying to refill it and decided that I am sending it back. It is too much trouble and not enough cool air to help with the AC bill like I was hoping. Nice machine if you are at a desk all day and want to sit by it.

Review Title: Port-A-Cool KA45 KuulAire Personal Evaporative Cooler
Comments: I live in an apartment building on the very top floor (fifth) and have a balcony unit with a southern exposure. These balcony units cannot have any kind of air conditioning as all air conditioners must be vented. Thus, there is a severe limitation on cooling options. The heat inside these units frequently reaches into the 110's, 120's during the summer months. This would have been a conundrum without solution had it not of been for my portable evaporative cooler. I have installed 'heat film' on all of my outside windows, black out drapes, too--and finally purchased the Port-A-Cool KA45KuulAire Personal Portable Evaporative Cooler to "put out any remaining 'fires' in my apartment". Result? The inside temperature of my apartment seldom reaches even the mid-70's during the warmest time in my apartment. Thank you Mr. KuulAire manufacturer and Mr. Dealer for providing me with a very affodable, attractive, and effective solution to what used to be real heat issues. In my apartment, such are a thing of the past!

Review Title: Port-A-Cool KA45 KuulAire Personal Evaporative Cooler
Comments: I live in subsidized senior public housing and have a balcony apartment, facing south. I could not stand the heat that is built up in my apartment, especially in the summer, were it not for an evaporative cooler such as this. I have to run it nearly all day long to keep my front room cool. The very first time I used it, I filled it to overflowing (lack of instructions) and ever since my remote control for this unit stopped working! Too, the unit is very heavy once filled with water. It is difficult enough moving it in my front room, let alone my house. Still, all considered, this unit is efficient though quite noisy. With these caveats, I recommend it.
